What I wild ride it has been over the past few months!!

So it has been many many months since either Staci or I have updated our blog. I cannot believe that Ellie is getting so so big. A lot has changed since the last post. We got settled into our new house. This is Staci and I's dream house and we thank God everyday for what He has given us. One thing we know is that we are extremely Thankful for our awesome family and friends. Our families mean so much to us. It has been a crazy time though as within this short time we lost my grandma and my uncle Lowell. The funny thing is that I can see them standing next to each other smiling down at all of us telling everybody how proud they are of all of us. We are so Thankful for the many great years that God gave us with each of them, but is very sad to think that Ellie really did not get to know how awesome these 2 people really where. Ellie dressed up this year for her first halloween as Ellie the Elephant. I know that I am partial but she was so cute and was really having a good time watching all the kids while we passed out the candy. During this time we also celebrated Ellie's 1st birthday party and she is now up and walking all around.
Stay Tuned for the next blog very shortly

Been Awhile

So it has been awhile since we have done a blog so I figured it is about time. Ellie is now 5 month's old and is growing like at weed. We have introduced her to cereal and she gets very upset if you try to take it away. We have a contract on our current house and are supposed to close on May 21st. The good news is that we have found a new house and are under contract with that one as well and are supposed to close May 28th but it appears we will be moving that up to atleast May 24th. We are very excited. This new house is Staci's dream. I have been traveling for the last 5 out of 6 weeks and on the weekends we have had a Wedding Indiana and one in Michigan, so to say the least we have been extremely busy. To make things even worse I had to travel on our 3 year anniversary which I was not happy with but we have to pay the bills some how. The good news is that it does not appear that I will not be traveling for atleast a month or so. God has been very good to us and we cannot complain at all. We are all in very good health along with our families as well.

A little of Everything

Our dear friends Justin, Jill, and Kennedy Manny moved to Florida last week. It was a weird night at Bible study because they were not there. We are going to miss them dearly but they are where they want to be and that is what's important. So, I promised Justin and Jill I would post more often because I go like a month without posting anything. Justin and Jill, this is for you=)
So I took over Jill's jon which constists of watching two girls before and after school. It so far is the easiest job I have ever done. I love it so far. I was worried about the early hours but I am quite awake so it has been greatso far. I am able to take Ellie with me which is awesome! I get paid and I am still able to be with my little sweetheart. Matt was out of town all last week with work. He has to be gone another week in two weeks. It is hard when he is gone because he does not get to see Ellie and each week I feel like she is growing and developing so much.

We tried the exersaucer for the first time the other day. Ellie did amazing with it. This will be part of our activity time now. It is nice to be able to do something else. At her age I feel like there is not much to do other than the play mat and rattles. Pretty simple. So I am very excited that she is able to control her body to use the exersaucer.

This next weekend we are taking Calli to my moms house because Matt's parents got the whole family hotel rooms for Sat. night to stay downtown. It is for everyone's birthday. It was just Roger's, and Vernita's birthday and Matts is on the 17th. It will be a nice night away from home.

We are trying to sell our house and we had an open house on Sunday and no one showed up. I thought this may happen considering it was super bowl Sunday and we had some snow. We put in an offer to another house which is forclosed so it needs some work and they denied it was and told us to come back with our best offer. They have other offers too so we submitted our best offer and we have not heard anything back yet. There is a lot going on right now and I will keep you all posted on everything=) Enjoy the new pictures.

Time in Flying By!

Wow, I can't believe Ellie is going to be two months old next week. It is scary to think how fast it is already going. We stayed very busy over Christmas. We went to Matt's family Christmas on Christmas Eve. Matt, Ellie, Calli, and I woke up early on Christmas morning and opened Ellie's gifts. We then got ready and headed out to Indiana. On Christmas Day we went to my moms then to my stepdad's side Christmas then to my stepmom's side Christmas. Needless to say we were exhausted by the end of the day. We got up the next morning and had Christmas with my dad. We headed home that afternoon.

For New years Matt went down to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans and I went to Versailles for a few days. It was nice spending time with my family. We had family down from Michigan to see Ellie and Eli which is my brother's newborn baby.

Ellie is starting to go a little longer in between feedings which has been nive and she has even been taking a couple naps during the day. Night time is still a struggle where she has several nights that she is up til 3 or 3:30. This makes it hard on us at times. It will only get better though. I have posted some new pictures. Please Enjoy!
